Experience

My journey with TheArchon began in 2019, after I was transferred from Skymetro to TheArchon. I initially joined the team as a Moderator and gradually progressed through the staff ranks, eventually reaching Senior Moderator (SrMod). During my time as SrMod, I began taking on more technical responsibilities alongside my staff duties. I worked with and made minor Minecraft plugin configurations and adjustments, which gave me my first practical exposure to server configuration, troubleshooting, and the technical side of Minecraft server management. This experience became an important stepping stone in my development journey and helped spark my interest in working with plugins, server infrastructure, and eventually software development.

Progression

Timeline

1. 2019

   Joined TheArchon after transferring from Skymetro as a Moderator.

2. 2019–2020

   Progressed through Mod+ to Senior Moderator.

3. 2019–2020

   Began working with plugin configurations and developed an interest in development.

4. Mid 2020

   Resigned from TheArchon.

5. Later

   TheArchon eventually ceased its server operations and transitioned into a different server/project.

Key Contributions

• Staff Progression: Progressed from Moderator to Mod+ and ultimately Senior Moderator.
• Server Management: Gained hands-on experience managing and supporting a large Minecraft server community.
• Plugin Configuration: Began experimenting with and configuring Minecraft plugins during my time as SrMod.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Developed an early understanding of server configuration, plugin behaviour, and troubleshooting.
• Development Foundation: Used this experience as the beginning of my transition from server staff into development.
• Community Experience: Built experience working within a professional Minecraft server team and dealing with real-world player and server issues.
